Acceptable Usage Policy

To protect ourselves and you, our clients and also to maximise the quality and efficiency of our servers, all clients hosted with us must agree to the following Terms of Service.

Acceptable content on the account...
Any content that violates UK, European or US law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, unlicensed software or files, or material protected by trade secret and other statue.

Sites that promote any illegal activity, links or content that may be damaging to the WiredWebs service and/or any other server and/or service on the Internet are prohibited. Links to such materials are also prohibited on our service.

Unacceptable content and/or links...
* Warez sites
* Pirated software, serials or cracks
* Illegal music or video
* Hacker programs or archives
* Child pornography
* Bit torrents
* Free hosting, email or forum services
* File storage facilities
 
Adult content that is of a legally allowed nature is allowed.

WiredWebs will be the decider as to what constitutes a violation of this provision.

Unmetered space/bandwidth...
Though we may offer unmetered services, it is not possible to have and/or to be able to offer true unlimited space/bandwidth and so WiredWebs operates a fair usage policy. If a user is using too many resources that causes other users to be effected or if the usage is crippling WiredWebs service(s) then we will not suspend your account immediately however, but we will discuss various solutions with you.

Fair usage policy...

Do not use your account for storing large files, such as, but not limited to, games, downloads, a compressed zip file containing music and videos and so on. Remote backup service allowance...
The remote backup feature is freely available on all packages, backups are commenced every Wednesday and Sunday. Accounts that exceed the space usage of 1000MB will no longer be entitled for free remote backup and therefore will be required to pay an extra fee if the user wishes to keep the feature. This fee is currently charged at £5.00 per month.

The usage of background processes and/or programs...
WiredWebs does not allow the usage of such activities on the server(s).

The usage of IRC...
WiredWebs does not allow the usage of such activities on the server(s).

Anime Content...
Anime or anything related to it is not allowed on our server(s).

Commercially advertising via email...
Spamming, or the sending of unsolicited email from a Dedicated Networks server or using an email address that is maintained on a Dedicated Networks machine is STRICTLY prohibited.

Abusing the server...
Any attempts to undermine or cause harm to a WiredWebs server or customer of WiredWebs is strictly prohibited. Dedicated Networks will pursue legal action to the fullest extent for all abuse of the WiredWebs service.

Suspension and/or termination of service...
If any terms or conditions are failed to be followed it will result in grounds for account suspension or termination. WiredWebs reserves the right to remove any account without prior notice. If Dedicated Networks deactivates your account(s) for violating policy, your will forfeit your rights to a refund. No refunds for advance payments on suspended or terminated accounts. Normal policy is a warning on the first offence, account suspension on the second offence, and account termination on the third offence. Serious offences may cause immediate termination without notification.

Acceptable SLA (service level agreement)...

We guarantee 99.5% uptime, however, there are a few conditions in that agreement.

• The uptime covers all internet incoming and outgoing connections to uplink servers, not third party internet service providers.

• The guarantee does not cover planned downtimes stated on site two days before.

• Service credits are only available if the server ping is >50ms for 12+ hours. **

** Only applicable to UK connections on a reliable broadband line and internet service.

Available payment methods...
We accept UK Debit & Credit Cards payments via PayPal.

As the customer you are responsible for keeping your billing up to date with WiredWebs and ensuring we receive your payment on the anniversary date. We reserve the right to suspend and/or terminate your account if we do not receive your payment within 5 days of the anniversary date. Furnishing false data on any contract or application, including fraudulent use of credit card numbers, is grounds for immediate termination, and may subject the offender to civil or criminal liability.

Cancelling your account...
Any request for cancellation of an account must be received via e-mail and you will receive a confirmation upon the cancellation of your account.

This agreement...
In signing up to WiredWebs you agree to the above terms. These Terms are subject to change at any time without prior noticeand it is up to you to check.

If any site is found to be violating these terms on our service, please report it.
